Whilst the date of departure is drawing closer – we are currently planning to leave April 1, 2012 –, our travel preparations are slowly but steadily progressing. Tour tip: Dolomites in one day
Our motorcycle tour through the Dolomites started in Corvara. From there, we took the road via Cassian to the Falzarego pass and further on to Cortina, which is famous since the Olympic Games once held there, and through scenes from a James Bond movie that were shot there. Tour tip: between Italy and Switzerland
This tour we started just below the Reschen pass on the Italian side. From there we went into Switzerland, and over the Ofen pass into the beautiful landscape of the Swiss National Park in Engadin. We then turned left towards Livigno (duty-free district), through a one-way tunnel (alternating traffic, road charge!) to the lake Livigno.
